RFM has come across, and twice successfully used, a very economical
source for new toroidal power transformers. The brand is Antek and
their web site is www.antekinc.com. I have repowered two amps with
higher capacity toroidals and the superior regulation is great. Twice
I've used credit card phone orders with no issues. I've gotten the
sense that they're a small family run importer and they welcome one-off
orders. The quality of the products leaves nothing to be desired and
the performance will beat the published values for VA.
