Since my company sells magnetic fuel saving systems, my posts may seem biased,
however, we have added a section to our web site: www.vortexfuelsaver.com
specifically for academic research. One recent published paper,
Electrorheology, included these choice quotes:
"Both laboratory and road tests confirm our theory and indicate that such a
device improves fuel mileage significantly."
"In other words, if the engine on the road is under the same condition as our
laboratory tests with the dynamometer, the fuel mileage will be increased by
20.4%"
The research papers are located here:

Vortex also has had some recent results for diesel fuel that are, IMVHO,
spectacular. There are several customers, with contact information, listed on
our Proof page -- http://vortexfuelsaver.com/proof_28.html -- such as Battle
Creek Transit (MI), a municipal bus company which reported a 38% increase in
MPG, Junk Yard Dogs (NC) over 20% and my favorite LaMonica Fine Foods (NJ),
which gave us their IFTA reports. IFTA filings are a government tax form, filed
quarterly, showing the total miles driven, the total fuel purchased and the MPG.
For the three quarters prior to installation, the fleet average MPG was 5.226.
In the first full quarter after installation, the fleet average MPG went to 6.34
and in the second quarter after installation the fleet average MPG went to 6.94
MPG, an increase of over 32% for the entire fleet. Granted it is a small fleet,
but these reports were prepared by Miller Leasing (the owner of the trucks) and
signed under penalty of perjury by the LaMonica.
Vortex does have other testimonials, but these three have allowed us to post
contact information, and have purchased for the entire fleet following a
demonstration.

Lou Elwell
