Question for all of those shared library users out there.

Most of my dmalloc usage is with statically linked binaries and I
know that my shared library usage is often inadequate.

Any suggestions on how to improve dmalloc's shared library building?
Does it not work right on your architecture? I've seen libtool but am
not interested in integrating it but am certainly open to wholesale
changes to the Makefile or other scripts.

Please respond to me directly and I'll summarize to the group if
necessary.
