Howdy:

So I have [finally] started the process of migrating off of Yahoo
groups. When I started using egroups, they were lightweight and full
featured. The features have been reduced, the ads multiply, and the
yahoo signup process has gotten more and more intrusive.

Because of this, I've created my own forum system on dmalloc.com. I
hope it will be faster, lightweight, and easier to use. No ads,
simply registration, multiple forums for feature requests, bugs,
announcements, etc.. They are located here.

http://dmalloc.com/forums/

Please consider registering immediately via:

http://dmalloc.com/forums/user_register.pl

You then can change your yahoo membership email address (if you don't
use them for anything else) and then unregister. Change your email
first in case they never forget about you. :-)

I will be copying any posts which make it onto the yahoo groups list
to the dmalloc.com forums.

This will be a bit painful until it all stabilizes but I hope it will
be an improvement.

Please send me mail with comments.

p.s. As you can see on the register page, I have some promises about
my use of your email address:

1) I will never sell my "mailing" list.
2) I will never sell Dmalloc to another company.
3) You probably don't know me but I promise to do everything in my
power to stop any authority or business entity from getting a hold of
the email addresses stored on my system. Send me mail if you have
specific questions about this.
