Senior Technical Writer
- Contract-to-hire preferred, but contracting considered
- Full-time preferred, but part-time considered
- Start date: July 22 or soon thereafter
- Company: InfoNow Corporation, downtown Denver (Lawrence & 19th)
- Onsite 25%-50% (after initial period working more closely with the
employees, getting to know the software, the players, and the company
culture and values)

Salary range: $50+ per hour, depending on qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and produce Online Help and PDFs using MadCap Flare
- Work with Software Development, Product Management, and QA to
produce technical documents for both internal and external audiences
- Support employees with internal wiki usage

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical writing for software companies
- Minimum 1 year experience with MadCap Flare or RoboHelp
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write clear and concise software instructions
- Ability to learn new software quickly, even in the absence of
documentation
- Familiarity with software development practices
- Ability to multitask
- Willingness to work closely with others to define requirements and
resolve issues
- Self-starter who can work independently with relatively little oversight,
setting and meeting own milestones in a fluid startup environment
