Our cutting edge E-learning design and development operation is
seeking 2D and/or 3D graphic artists and animators. This position
works with courseware writers to create custom 2D and/or 3D graphic
design and/or Flash animation, simulation, and interactivity to
support production of visually appealing, highly interactive E-learning.

Strong artistic ability, positive attitude, and the ability to work
40-50 hours per week to meet challenging deadlines is required. Both
2D and 3D design candidates will be considered.

Job Duties:

* Graphic designer/3D animator/Flash developer will be
responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing media-rich
content for the DISH Network Training and Development department.
* Candidate will work closely with other graphic designers and 3D
animators on the Learning Media Development team as well as with
internal and external clients.
* Candidate will be responsible for projecting, communicating,
and meeting deadlines in a fast paced corporate environment.

Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.

Skills and Qualifications
* Proficient knowledge with 2D and/or 3D applications including:
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Blender, Poser or various 3D
modeling/animating tools.
* Flash Animation experience desired (ActionScript experience a
plus).
* Intermediate knowledge of non-linear video editing programs
including: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
* Strong design, illustration and/or 3D skills required.
* Must be detail oriented with the ability to prepare final work
for production purposes.

Job Description

The Motion Graphics Designer is responsible for developing spectacular
creative while teaming with a variety of producers to create award-
winning broadcast material. This involves all phases of the design
process, including concept development, look and feel, animation,
graphic design, and some production. You should be able to concept and
develop work that plays brilliantly against the overall creative
strategy. You'll support broadcast editors with graphic assets and
design direction as well as assist marketing & product design efforts
including conceptual proposals and creative execution. Vivid
imagination, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask
a must.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two
years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of
experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Qualifications

* Excellent design skills.
* Well-versed in Macintosh computer and software programs
including Final Cut Pro, Motion, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash and
Photoshop. Experience with 3D animation platforms like Maya and
Lightwave required.
* Ability to generate multiple and distinct compositions while
interpreting client's needs.
* Must be able to install programs, hook up/connect computer, and
troubleshoot computer problems.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written in a
corporate office environment.
* Develop the look, feel and design for motion projects under the
direction of the Executive Producer and Marketing SVP.
* Understand brand and marketing objectives and proactively
contribute to the evolution and success of the business
* Develop layouts and storyboards
* Participate in concept development and design ideation
* Create visual design solutions that address business, brand,
market requirements
