Is it possible to write the DNS cache data to a file and reload
it on the next run?
This would be a nice behaviour on dial-in computers/networks
which are reloaded frequently.

Actually, I think a persistent cache would be a Good Thing (TM), provided one could also configure the cache expiration times. IMHO, IP addresses don't change...

... It's not a question of how often an IP address changes. If an IP address changes once in 7 years, do you want to wait a week before your dns server gets...
