I´ve set up dnrd to be authority for a long domain name. The actual name
is
zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc

This works well. But every host extension longer than 2 letters breaks
the DNS reply. Requests for hosts like www.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc or
xxx.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc dont work but
xx.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc and x.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc works
fine.

I´ve tried a different compiler (egcs instead of gcc) but the nasty bug
remained. Thus one could assume a pointer error.

could anyone help - the dnrd is a great piece of software and fits
perfectly for my needs
