bug with long authoritative domains

Hi,

I´ve set up dnrd to be authoritative for a long domain name. The actual
name is zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc. Its for my Square Dance Club.

This works well. But every host extension longer than 2 letters breaks
the DNS reply. Requests for hosts like
www.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc or
xxx.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc dont work, but
xx.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc and
x.zugspitzpromenaders.uni.cc works fine. You can try it out, i've set up
and running the server for the public. The tools dig and host are fine
for that.

I´ve tried a different compiler (egcs instead of gcc) but the nasty bug
remained.

could anyone help, I could'nt find the reason - the dnrd is a great
piece of software and fits perfectly for my needs.

Johnny
