... You can indeed drag-and-drop a color from the color wells onto the grandient's scale. You can also draw the R, G, B and opacity progression of the gradient

You can load several images into 'Stored' condition. Then you can conveniently load one (click the stored thumb) and select the desired portion, transfer that
