I'm in Alabama and have a little free range flock of around 25 Dominiques
(regular sized). The weather was really wacky this Spring though and we didn't
get any hens to set successfully (the hens would set a few days and then a cold
snap would hit and confuse them). I still want to try again, but now the
weather is sweltering, so I'm not sure if it will work. We had two hatches last
year - one in May and one in July.
