Angela-

I appreciate your suggestions. I was able to figure
out the problem and they work :) functional comments
woo!

I have not configured grey duck's or uber comments
yet. I fixed my spam filters so they take the
unnumbered comments (that aren't linked or referenced
to any particular post " New Comment [] " and my spam
filters stick them in a junk folder :) it's just a
temporary work around until I have time to deal with
the issue.

You may want to check and see if your server's PHP configuration has "register_globals" turned off. I've found that dotcomments requires it to be on in order...
