PHP5 and remote dotcomments issue?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #753 of 928 |
Hey all,

I've been using Phil's dotcomments and they have been working great
for me for a number of years, however, I recently upgraded to Win2k3,
IIS 6.0 and PHP 5. After fighting to get PHP5 funtioning with IIS, I
finally succeeded. However, my comments no longer funtion like they did.

Commentcount.php still functions perfectly, however, the comments
themselves will not load even though all are still there and counted
correctly. I've checked everything - permissions included. Permissions
don't seem to be an issue because I can read/write to disc as an
internet user. When I write a new comment, is saves it back my
comment file as .comment with no numbers in front. That comment
becomes available to every single post becuase it has no unique
identifying number. The comments that DO have unique identifying
numbers aren't being read by comments.php anymore.

Please help,
