...Long time no speak!
For the record I used to be 'Bobo' and hide behind the sofa a lot...
I even came down one night to see you guys!
It's been nearly 10 years but seems like yesterday. I spent nearly
all day and all night on Drealm and clocked up nearly a grand phone
bill! BT disconnected us for a while there....strange people that
they are.
But that was then. Hi again! Hope you are all well.
Cheers,
Chris.

Some of the mailing list entries are starting get pretty historic -
we've already got the old drealm.org.uk message board as "history"!
It's getting to be a museum of museum exhibits :-)

Wow, this is like a major blast from the past, just been reading some
of the old messages on the old forum, so many people I remember.
Can't remember the name I used to use on drealm ... sL1mB0y maybe?
Something like that ... I remember meeting up with Yoav one weekend up
Tottenham Court Road and going to an internet cafe with him ... anyone
remember me?
Anyways, hope everyone is cool

Well, she got married and became a well-paid assistant fund manager, bought
her own flat etc, and then went to Brighton, became a lesbian, and trained
as a plumber. She's just about to come back to the UK after several months
in Thailand and Malaysia. Fortunately she kept the flat, and letting that

LOL!!!!! Yes. I suppose they don't want people getting a poor
impression of the service by clicking on entry after entry in the index
only to find they're defunct.
That doesn't make any sense. Surley deleting the *active* groups would
save more resources?

Hello Inge and all your other wonderful people who might read this :-)
All is ok thanks - bit stressed out trying to do mountains of coursework

Lol! True.
I'm fine, I'm immersed in making controllable event objects for The Sims
(plug - go to http://www.simlogical.com for my Sims hacked object
site) Pete and I are not looking forward to xmas any more than we
usually do, as it's about the most boring time of the year. People even
stop using the internet for a few hours, so there's no email to read -
bah! I shall probably spend the entire xmas period programming, as
usual. Or I might even get time to actually play The Sims and use some of
the stuff I've made (-:

Yeah but it's easier just to hit reply. Every time I try to start a new
thread in a mailing list it ends up not appearing. Maybe they're going
somewhere else? Maybe every time one gets something that looks like spam
it's really a perfectly legitimate message that should have gone somewhere
else?
Why is the thread called "The latest version of ... etc"? I never got the
original of this by the way.
Hi Neil,
How're you?
I do hope not everyone feels they have to keep to this one thread - if you want
to say "hello", you're more than welcome to start a new one.

The latest version of drealmBBS is 2.1
The package file can be downloaded here. This has been updated with
our latest contact details.
However, to get it to run/compile on Linux 2.4.0-test10 (and probably
any 2.x) kernel, you'll need to apply this patch.
