Description

Our basic principles are respect for many traditions, honoring creativity, and kindness. The original members met on-line in a dream discussion held as part of Jeremy Taylor's web site on dreams and sacred narrative (www.jeremytaylor.com) and we strongly recommend becoming familiar with Jeremy Taylor's Basic Hints for Dream Work and other writings as a framework for understanding deams.

Members vary greatly in age, lifestyle, affiliations, and ethnicity, and come from several continents. Respect and supportiveness are requirements for participation.

This is not a site for commerce. You may recommend a book, film, or other information source that seems relevant to the general discussion. Please do not use this site to promote products or services not directly related to the discussion.

You are not required to post a specific number of responses, to read daily or weekly, or to comment on every dream submitted. Please feel free to browse and lurk until you get a feeling for our style, then speak to whatever moves you.

We encourage you to introduce yourself if that is comfortable, or, if you prefer, to remain anonymous and let the dreams speak for themselves until you feel more at-home among us.

Respect for confidentiality and people's emotional and psychic life is critical to building an on-line sense of trust. Please do not re-post anything that appears here without the specific permission of the author. Post no information that did not originate with you, unless you have the specific permission of the person who originally wrote or said it. Also, feel free to e-mail a list member privately if you are hesitant about sharing any material with the entire list. We deeply desire that everyone who enters this list considers it a safe and comfortable place to play.

Here's to the creative, often astonishing, and frequently entertaining world of our dreaming selves.
