SR. PROCESSOR ARCHITECT #1162109


RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop algorithms and design hardware in
modern embedded CPU architectures (application processors) and memory
subsystems. Working within a team, system architects document, design,
develop functional and performance simulators, validate, and verify
each new chip.
- Develop tests, testplans, and testing
infrastructure for new application processors. Develop methodologies
and tools for validating test results. Design and implement automated
testing strategies.
- Write and run low-level system level tests
which expose architectural performance characteristics of competitor?s
application processors. Compare results with NVIDIA application
processors. Find shortcomings and strong points of each. Work with
architects to determine underlying causes. Publish and maintain results.

Will be Key architect working with ARM, investigation overall system
architecture and memory subsystem in an application processor (TEGRA).
- Will work with engineering and marketing to help develop future roadmap.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS Degree in relevant discipline (CS, EE, Math). Advanced degrees (MS or PhD)
helpful.

10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred. Relevant
industries include Mobile, PC or workstation processor hardware or
software development, or tools development.
- Strong programming ability: C, C++ and Perl preferred
- Must have strong CPU architecture background and understand industry trends
and roadmaps
