When I do a search, and the result(s) show as being inside of a pdf file, Adobe
Reader always launches. How do I get the selection to show in the search results
window instead of launching the application? Frustrating!

... I believe it is a setting in Acrobat, in that you tell it to launch in the viewer. Maybe also in the DTSearch variables....	budcarroll2001	Jun 2, 2009 1:05 am

... There are two settings that can affect this: (1) In dtSearch Desktop, click Options > Preferences > External Viewers, and make sure the box to "View PDF...	David Thede davidthede	Jun 2, 2009 1:28 am
