Nigel,
David Taylor's programme MSG data manager already has the facilities
for moving automatically DWD files to dated storage. The Image files can be
viewed with any image viewer. The.IA5 files need other processing. I am
looking into what is most appropriate. I guess others will already know the
best way of processing these files.

Does the DWD SAT data require any "processing" after
reception and, if so, how are you doing it?
