I have now received a reply from Eumetsat OPS, following my report to them
of the build up of DWDSAT channels listed as 'available' in the 'Active
Channels' setting in the HTML shell of Tellique.
Many others have seen the same thing.
OPS have confirmed that this happens when jobs get interrupted due to a
higher priority before any data has been sent.
As I said in my last mail this is something you will see on all channels
from time to time, but not usually a build up.
They have also confirmed that the DWDSAT stream is
mostly affected because it contains many relatively small files and the
likelihood of these interruptions is higher than in other channels.
The feeling is that it has little or no impact on performance.
The Engineers will monitor the situation.
If there is any further news I will report back.
At the moment I am seeing 5 of those channels but there is often more than
10.
