Kural Tamil Software is a keyboard manager that helps to input Tamil characters in any Microsoft Windows Applications. How to choose various Encodings?
http://www.kuralsoft.com/tutorial_e.htmKural Tamil Software supports almost all known encodings like UNICODE, TSCII, TAM, TAB and LIPI. To select an encoding please click on "Kural Amaippu" and then choose the encoding you prefer.
Also you should select the right font for the encoding, in other words, if you choose TSC as your encoding then you should use any TSC fonts (like TSCKural) while typing in Tamil
How to choose various Keyboard layouts?
Kural Tamil Software supports English Phonetics, Tamil99, new and old Tamil typewriter keyboards. To select your keyboard layout, please click on "Kural Amaippu" and then chose the keyboard form "visaippalakai" section.
