Intel gigabit NIC which is PCI-e   Message List
Reply Message #86242 of 86788 |
Neil/Felix/Everyone,

I think I will try an Intel chipset and see how this goes. I also like the idea
of going with a PCI-e card since PCI is slowly going away I don't want to buy
technology that will be hard to upgrade with on my next motherboard. I just
bought a new motherboard and I have an extra PCI-e x4 slot to that is perfect. I
did some searching on Amazon and egghead and could not find this card though.
Can anyone /post/send a link from one of these stores (tigerdirect also would be
fine), maybe I am just searching for the wrong thing. I also want the Intel
gigabit NIC version, my router does not support this right now but here in a few
months I will be upgrading and when I do I want the Gigabit port version.

Thanks again to everyone that replied, it will be good to get on the Internet
with my eCS computer again.
