The story i¹d heard (and i think it is probably mostly mythological) was
that the Em@iler codebase was ³sold² to Micro$oft after Claris dropped it,
and it re-emerged as Outlook Express 5 (for Mac was there ever a v4 or
less?), which i used for many moons (too many) and then it was polished up
and repackaged (most re-written i expect) as Entourage which is where i am
now! :)
Sorry for not helping test the latest eMA betas barely time to do my
"proper" archiving these days (still happily using version 4.02 on FMP6) but
i hope i can contribute something to the Open Source project if and when...
one day!
