I finally tried to get Email Archiver to work with Claris emailer. (I was
having problems with 3.x, never got it working)

This is a non-currupted Emailer, 2.2, 10.4.8, on a Powerbook g4.

I set the preferences, set Emailer to be the incoming and outgoing email
program, and tried to update list.

I get the error, -1712 message is: loading library files: INitialise
Emaikler script: Claris Emailer got an error: AppleEvent timed out.

Am I doing something obviously wrong?

Same happens with and without Emailer running.

I have multiple copies of Emailer. Does that matter?
