Having problems with message search?
Hi, from the author of eMessage Archiver and Moderator of this Group, with an important message.
I am no longer going to update or support the eMA application.
This eMA discussion group, however, is not being closed. Please keep on talking.
I have also placed this notice on my eMA web site, but have not removed or changed the content there.
My stopping work on eMA is probably no surprise to most of you, considering that I have been absent for so long, and I have indicated this possibility in some of my last messages.
I have really enjoyed working on eMA, and our discussions on this list. But I have just not been able to do much at all with eMA for the past couple years. In addition, many of my original reasons for writing eMA are no longer required by my new interests.
I have moved on to other projects that are taking up most of my time and interests. They have nothing to do with software development. But they are what I originally retired from my “real” job in order to do, and for some time they have been my major occupation.
Note: I am hereby officially removing any restrictions on the use and modification of this software, both the FileMaker Pro parts and the AppleScript parts. I actually hope that others will take it over, or replace it with something similar.
Please do not make any more payments to my PayPal site.
I will try to keep up with this message group for a short while, but I will probably not have much to say.
THANKS for all the fun, for more than a decade. I have loved it.
