this is one limitation. Can view for day, week, month.

advantage is that sub items can be calendered and show up only as TLI's. (a big
advantage for deep outlines). Also can give item multiple dates (via different
date folders).

have been playing a little with your system a bit.

Normally, all my tasks are in global 'to do' list of about 3-400 possible
actions. a short do this today list is active. Items can be assigned to show
up in 'do this today' list in future. Also I can look over the 'to do' list
periodically to manually pull things to do today, or on any future day.

disadvantage is that I don't see my week or month's plan ahead of me.

on other had, every day brings new issues/opportunities/problems that call for
brand new tasks not known yesterday.. ie., if I plan out my week or month,
the actuall work will look nothing like the plan... it's a fake sense of
security/focus (although me by hepful, haven't yet fully tried).

also, have projects with next steps that show up when prior is complete. Using
the 'calendar' based system, would need to estimate completion dates & map out
the project over time step by step. (which isn't necessarily a bad idea, but
seems to require more effort than worth. I generally know about how long
project should take, and can just enter to do steps... (using EM TaskMaster
tool), and bam.. bam..bam... as complete each step next step open onto 'today
action' list.
