Sure. Somehow we got off track from my initial question: this is not for a
"cleanup" but for an ongoing real-time display of calendar and ticklers :)

The original answer worked nicely... it's a simple Ecco filter that wasn't
immediately obvious to me:

* Appointment has any value (gets ALL calendar items)
OR
* ToDo Category != (unwanted value) [or any other todo-related filter]

Any ideas? We use a calendar tab with To-Do showing to the right. We want to set a filter on the To-Do items without filtering the Calendar Ideas? -- ...

you can do it progmatically by removing the undesired items from the 'tickler' display. keep track of changed items in blank folder, so you can restore back....
