1. for normal/daily use progmatic filtering can be pretty cool. MagicFilters
(EM boards somewhere) is an example.
2. if same item has appointment and to-do folder date settings, if you want to
display the apointment and not to-do, progmatic filter seems only solution.
3. 'cleanup' in sense that when filter is turned off or when another filter
applied, need to re-apply the show on to-do (tickler) setting that was turned
off for filter.
