hey friends.
I am pramod from uni of Leeds,have started with repast ...n am no
gr8 programmer aggghhhh..../
well my idea is to design or model a very basic disease spread
model...of Foot and Mouth Disease.....
well...my intial paln is to do something as follows
1.incorporate the envrionment/space in the model
2. to add some agents
3.infect few of them
4. make them move around in space
5.make them infect the agents they come in contact with
6. adopt some disease cycle like
susceptible...latent.....infectious.....recovered states in the
agents
7. remove them if dead
and some more basic stuff
one big problem i am facing is what should be the environment i will
be able to adopt...a node based system or a grid based how do i
incorporate the same
second how do i really get the agent move about and simulataneously
infect the agents who are suceptible
thirdly how do i get output for validation
and most importantly will i be able to get some data or support from
authorities to support my results ....
is there some suggestion and help u cud offer.....if that wud be
possible hundred thanks in adbvance...
