Howdy,

to those that wish to edit their store's database offline witha
speadsheet program such as MS excel or Lotus 123, you may do so by
asking your webmaster to send you a copy of your database via email.
Please refer to the database help sections located at
http://www.imegamall.com/help/ for more information on how to upload
and import your database. make sure you save it and rename it to
anynameyouwant.csv in comma delimited format. the only name it
cannot be is database.csv

Also, when editing the any prices offline make sure the columns are
not formatted to a currency setting. a number setting to two
decimals is recommended. If a "$" symbol is added manually or by a
currency cell format, you will be able to see the prices for your
products, but not when a customer is shopping your store.

howdy,

just a quick note. the live tech support service that we use for real-time tech
support ... human click links on our sites is being terminated. they no longer
offer free services and the revenue doesn't afford us the luxury to provide it
under the new pricing plans. So, as a result well will be turning to this forum
and the chat rooms that it offers to a majority of our live and semi-live tech
support for your websites and storefronts.

I am moving and will be not very visible in the upcoming 4-5 weeks. But once I
settle in, I will schedule regular chat sessions in the chat room of this free
forum so that you can ask questions in real-time.

Remember, you can also pose a question to the forum, but remeber that the
messages are sent to forum members that allow emails and also can be seen online
when you respond to emails and/or post messages to the forum. Abuses will not
be tolerated. If you don't wish to get emails, setup the features in your Yahoo
groups account. If worse comes to worse, I can set it for you so that you don't
receive all the emails.

If you post a message to the forum, then other members can help you as well.
Please do not post commercial statements to the forum. I will have to remove
you from the list. It's okay to tell people where your store is so they can
help ya, but please don't try to sell products and promote services in this
forum. It's inappropriate to do so.

For help in accessing the forum online, consult the Yahoo help sections and/or
login to the forum at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ecommercesupport

You can still reach me by email at webmaster@... in a direct fashion.
If you you have another webmaster, then contact them using the address they gave
ya if you need to contact someone directly.

Also, new versions of the shopping software will be updated on sites soon. I
was hoping to have the code completed by now, but it is taking longer than
expected. But in the mean time, I'll still be working on the stores to get
those that aren't live yet on live status. Please remember that I service a lot
of stores and clients, so please be patient with me when it looks like I'm not
responding. In my new location, I will be available more often.

More services will also be avialable ... some as part of the package for free.
Afterall, we don't get paid unless you sell something ;) So we will work hard to
help you become a success. All our upcoming services, marketing mechanisms, and
store networks will add to the visibility and marketability of your stores.

Again I apologize for running behind on many or your stores. This new situation
and move will improve my services to you as your personal webmaster.

Anyway take care and thanks for your patience during these last few weeks.
