The Edgewater Permaculture Society is an informal not for profit organization dedicated to promoting edible landscaping and intented to be a resource for anyone interested in creating sustainable human environments. Some of the projects we are presently working on include a demonstration and community garden in Edgewater, Florida. A farmer's market for Edgewater, which will probably be located at beautifull Hawks Park. A demonstration ''green'' home with edible landscaping in Edgewater, Florida. An edible landscaping supply center in Edgewater, Florida, which will host on site plant exchanges and even distribute edible plants to members and the public for free or at cost. Featured will be guest speakers who specialize in areas of permaculture design like bee keeping, companion planting, herb spirals, medicinal plants, shroomery, grey water recycling, energy efficient home design and more.
