The World Dreams Peace Bridge Requests a Return to a Peaceful Solutions
Dream In.....Please join in.

The world is at a dangerous stage. It appears that the US with the UK and
Australia will wage war upon Iraq. The massive use of conventional
firepower that the US has promised to use to "shock" the Iraqis into
submission is certain to cause huge numbers of deaths of young Iraqi
soldiers (up to 100,000 has been predicted). It has also been estimated
that up to 10, 000 civilians (women and children and old men) will be
killed. The war is likely to inflame the rivalry between different Muslim
sects and between Arabs and Kurds and perhaps even Turkey: resulting in
even more death and destruction.

This is not a hopeful time. But it is not time to give up. Surprising
things can happen. We could never have predicted the global peace response
in the last few weeks when we first started dreaming peaceful
solutions. Perhaps even now, at this late stage, we can make a
difference. Let us try to anyway.

Let us dedicate our dreams for the next week to peaceful solutions.
