Hi,
I have to make some 50Amp inductors from thin (0.5mm) copper strip.

Where can i get the enamel used for coating copper magnet wire?
I've trawled the net for hours. It's some kind of poly/ester/amide/imide
substance. Alternatively, could a transformer varnish be useable?

I want to coat the copper strip, then after drying wind it around
the former, bending the strip in its "awkward" direction (bending
in the plane of its width dimension). The coating should have some
flexibilty so it doesn't crack. Like:

Alternatively, where's a good place to get a range of copper
strip wiring?
