Hello to all emachine upgraders,
I've just signed up. :) The other day I found a monitor and tower on
the curb (which happened to be a etower 600id.) I took the tower home
since it appeared complete. It had all the decals still on it.
Half of the files were deleted so it wouldn't boot. So I wiped it and
installed XP pro and added some more ram. It works great.
The etower still has all the OEM stickers with the product keys
attached. One of them is for the PowerDVD. I'd like to install
PowerDVD back on there so I can make use of the Product key but I
cannot find was version it had originally. The PowerDVD Product key
sticker has the year 1997 printed on it.
QUESTION: Does anyone know what version of PowerDVD came with the
etower 600id?
Thank you
