Hello,
I read with interest your information about Grunhaus. I would like to
point out that you can demonstrate most of the techniques on a single apartment
house on a piece of land. Both food, jobs, and biomass energy would have short
supply lines. I wish you well with your project and hope to start one here.

Dear Kermit Schlansker,
I read your posting on energyresources@yahoogroups.com with interest.
This is very much the same objective as the Grünhaus project see
www.grunweb.org.uk. But we have not yet found the funding necessary to start.
Meantime I maintain and enlarge a data base of Renewable Technologies, and have
just put forward a project proposal to my local [Parish] community
www.orletonvillage.co.uk for equipping all houses in the village with Solar
Water Heaters and possibly Heat Pumps, on a community lease basis via
www.sunrisegf.com
Our local town, Ludlow, has a food waste digester www.greenfinch.co.uk
generating electricity, and shortly to heat a new housing estate.
A set of Notes on Renewables is attached which you may find interesting.
best regards
Andrew Stobart, Secretary Grünhaus project
