Here is something worth watching for people who are are still undecided on
whether it is feasible and practical to store carbon dioxide produced from the
oxidation of coal ( or any other source for that matter) underground. In order
to be effective in the battle against climate change ofcourse the CO2 must stay
in its containment for ever which is a very long time. The prospect that this
technology may someday be feasible seems to be giving coal fired electrical
generation a slightly greener image than I think it deserves.
