Tim,

They should, as the EX standard was developed for the EOS series.

I used a 420 EX with my Elan 7e, which was an E-TTL camera. Now I use a 580
EX with my DSLR and I believe the manual for both flashes states they are
A-TTL compatible.

use an EOS 3, but also just got an EOS 1N, will my EX Speedlight revert to A
