Here are two links that I received today - both fascinating in their own, low-tech, open-source kind of way -  and somewhat encouraging within our techno-laden environments, showing us that there are still neato things happening in the world.

  They are both things that could or will touch us in the future, from humming to the background muzak at a bank, to having seniors use their Wii remotes in new and interesting ways.
