Here is an interesting freeware product for image manipulation.

It has command line parameters so you can work on an entire directory of images, converting them, rotating them 90 degrees, etc.

What I especially think is cool is the ability to turn text into graphics from a command line, so you have a choice when Microsoft Word Art is overkill and you need something or several things FAST.
