Ah yes! The XP hack does not like having two control panel files (.cpl) in the
Windows directory. If you copy the PRISM cpl file someplace else (like
applications), your control panel will return, and when you then look under
Applications, you will see the Prism control panel icon.

after I installed the prism driver my control panel went out. I was
able to config static, and got confirmation from the ip tool under
utilities, BUT NO PINGING OR BROWSING POSSIBLE
my router log registers the card being acepted but no ip was assigned
and my ip range is within the static settings that I used.
