My vote is for Hitachi also. I've had a 21" SuperScan 811 at home for three
years now. All the controls you'd ever need, sharp as a tack. Page Computer
has the best price I could find (less than $780 including shipping).

My graphics department at work has also used this monitor or its former
equivalent for over five years. Up to 20 at one time - never a bad one! They
used to buy NEC but had a lot of bad ones right out of the box and they just
didn't last.

Even so, the Sony and Viewsonics have a 3 year warranty (don't know about other brands) - Hitachi now has 5 years. That alone, says alot. Robert Oremland ... ...
