OK, I see that I do get the messages! They just go to the eGroups site way
sooner than here--but, that is OK as I still get them.

The whole point of the portfolio is to show what others are doing with their
printers. This is not a fine-art show nor a best of best prints collection.
Rather it is a collection of 8"x10" size prints with some notes about how
the prints were made and how they were digitally edited.
Breaking the submissions into categories is not something I think we need to
worry about. Good photos on glossy photo paper, fine art prints on
watercolor paper, B&W done with CIS, etc. are all valid submissions.
If everyone on a list took on average 3 days to view and mail the portfolio,
plus a couple of days mail time, a portfolio for 20 would take about four
months to make the rounds. But, that is OK, as they get around and you get
to see them.
Stealing 480 x 480 pixel images off a Web page shouldn't be an issue.
Watermark them or damage them in some way if you are concerned. The point is
that they are just references to the work so that they can be discussed.
But, you knew that Roy, I'm sure.
