Gregory,
I'd like to participate but I live in Europe. Will there be a European
group or a way to keep the Euro's together so the potfolio isn't crossing
the ocean between members too often? And why is this always brought up in
the summer, when folks are on vacation? I didn't join last time because
I'm away all of August and was afraid the portfolio would arrive while I
was gone. I shall also be away from late October to late November.
A simpler solution is currently going on in the PiezographyBW elist - a
print exchange, in 2 groups of 10 and one of 30 members. This way the
coordinator receives 10 (or 30) copies of one print from each
participant, opens the packages and reconstitutes each with a print from
the others in that group and sends them back. Obviously return postage
must be included or a way to return to sender without cost. More work for
the coordinator but the prints travel only once each way from/to
everyone. And each member gets to keep either 10 or 30 different prints
depending on how many of his/hers were contributed.
Cheers,
Nina
