Re: Call for FY09 Region Conference Task Force Chair and Members __________________________________________________________________________________
The Board of Directors (BOD) has chartered a Region Conference task force to provide the Region Governors and the BOD with recommendations for region conference program templates and processes to create a more consistent and higher quality conference for collegiate and professional members by the end of FY09. You may click here to review the charter of this task force in detail.
We are pleased to announce the call for FY09 Region Conference task force chair and members. The application process will allow all SWE members the opportunity to express an interest in the task force chair or participate as a member of the task force. It will also allow us the opportunity to better match our members' strengths and interests to the needs of the Society.
If interested, please fill out the Chair (downloadable) application form or Member (online) application form with the requested information and return it in Word or PDF format along with a photo (headshot at 300 dpi resolution) in a .jpg file to hq@... by December 19, 2008.
All applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified by January 16, 2009. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact headquarters at 321-596-5244.
