Ladies,

First of all, I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas; I do hope you're
enjoying yourselves as much as I am. For those who have already
received an e-mail from me, please forgive me for writing once again.
(For those who didn't receive the Call for Staff Writers, please read
this message to the end, as I've repeated that first e-mail at the
end.)

I've been asked how you should submit an article for the blog.
Generally, a Word document works out fine; you can add your text and
pictures in the Word file. However, if you prefer, you can send your
article as plain text and attach pictures to the e-mail. Either way is
fine for me. Please send them to rcne-d@..., and copy them to
josuan.hilerio@...; I check both e-mails frequently.

If you're out of ideas for what to write for the Blog, I'll be sending
out "Better Know a Section" forms from now until February. It's
basically a questionnaire about your Section, your history, your
activities, your officers; it will be your turn to get exposure. My
goal is to read about a different section every month – but if all of
you respond, we might be reading about other sections once or twice
every week!

Finally, thank you all very much for reading up to here. Once again,

**CALL FOR BLOG STAFF WRITERS**

First of all, Feliz Navidad & Próspero Año Nuevo! Seasons Greetings
from your Regional Collegiate Newsletter Editor, RCNE, Josuan Hilerio.
As you may know: I'm in charge of the Regional Collegiate Blog
(http://regiond.wordpress.com), which highlights, among other things,
Collegiate Sections and activities, Best Practices, Dazzling Divas and
other news from the Collegiate Sections.

However, I cannot do this alone: I need input from each and every one
of you. For this reason, I'd like to announce that I'm searching for
voluntary Staff Writers from each section. They don't have to do
much, nor be very skilled, they just need to be interested in blogging
and talking about the great things your sections do (which I'm sure is
an opportunity you wouldn't want to miss). your
webmasters, newspaper/newsletter editors, anyone who writes for your
section can be a staff writer; but the position is open to anyone
interested.

Presently, I'm looking for at least one person from each section to
become a Staff Writer; however, if more than one is interested, they are
definitely welcome. Please send in names and e-mails to rcne-d@....
