SWE member and doctoral student April Lauper requests SWE professional and collegiate members to complete a survey for her research study, Effects of Leadership Training and Networking Opportunities on Professional Advancement: A Quantitative Study. The intent of this investigational study is to explicate and forecast the perceptions of member of SWE on possible tangible benefits of membership. Your response will assist the researcher to evaluate the leadership benefits perceive by the SWE member about their real-world business advancements and/or promotions. (As shown in SWE News December 2008)
When the study is completed, this will be the first SWE dissertation. The more SWE members (collegiate and Professional) to complete the survey will add significance to the study. Please help me promote the surveys. There are possible positive influences from the study on SWE that could show benefits of SWE membership.
