RE : [Esker ActiveX Plug-in] sizing problems in Netscape 7.2   Message List

Hi J,

I am a bit busy right now so it would help if you would provide further
information:

>Is this a Netscape problem or a plug-in problem

Could you try the same HTML page layouts with an other Netscape plug-in.
Does it correctly resizes with Netscape 7.2?

If it does, this means that it is an Esker ActiveX Plug-in bug.

>Version 7.8 is the only one that doesn't immediately crash with a

You are right, Esker ActiveX Plug-in 7.8 is the only version which is
compatible with Netscape 7.2.

Could you please try the same HTML page using previous versions of Netscape
and of course, using the corresponding version of the Esker ActiveX Plug-in
(see the readme.txt file available along the Esker ActiveX Plug-in).

If it works with at least one previous versions of Netscape, it means that
this is a Netscape 7.2 specific issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Nicolas Roumiantzeff

Objet : [Esker ActiveX Plug-in] sizing problems in Netscape 7.2

Controls embedded using the Esker Plugin v7.8 in Netscape 7.2 are not
resizing properly when the page is resized. Specifically, if the
embed tag has a style of "height: 100%; width: 100%", the size at
which the control is redrawn is the previous window size, not the
final window size, when the resize finishes. If the embed tag is in a
table, with the same style attribute of "height: 100%; width: 100%",
the height appears to be fixed at about 200 pixels, although the width
adjusts correctly.

Is this a Netscape problem or a plug-in problem? Version 7.8 is the
only one that doesn't immediately crash with a missing procedure entry
point using Netscape 7.2.
