By "application", do you mean "ActiveX" which interacts with the Windows Media
Player?
In this case I would answer: yes.
By "without embbeded", do you mean "using the <OBJECT> tag instead of the
<EMBED> tag"?
In this case my answer is: no.
But if you mean that "your ActiveX is not a container for the Windows Media
Player"?
In this case my answer is: yes, it does not matter how your ActiveX interacts
with the Windows Media Player.
