"The weather has been changing across Greece Saturday, with rain,
gale-force winds and snowfalls in the west and north. At the same
time, the authorities are trying to locate a 4X4 vehicle with an
unidentified number of passengers after being carried away by a
torrent near Ierapetra, Crete. In parallel, the Fire Brigade has been
called on several times to help in cutting trees in Attica, the
mainland and the Peloponnese, where problems might arise due to gale
force winds blowing there.

Meanwhile, homes and shops in Ierapetra flooded Friday, while a
civilian at Stomio on Saranti saw a 4X4 being carried away by a torrent.

9 to 10 Beaufort gale force winds are blowing in the east and south,
while the temperature has dropped in Attica, where it ranges from
12-21C and in Thessaloniki from 8-14C. "
