Nice to see someone's still hanging around here, other than the chick who "likes
it up the ass" or whatever her handle is.
I wish they'd get rid of those annoying ads to the right of the message post!
I got me a 17" eMac and a 12" iBook, both dual boot from OS 9 or OS X.
Mostly I still work in OS 9, but I just bought the Adobe Creative Suite upgrade
w/ Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign. Pretty nice! I'm used to PageMaker &
QuarkXPress, and my only complaint is that the redraw in InDesign is really
s-l-o-w when you import an eps w/ graduated screens. I know you can lower the
quality of the on-screen graphic to speed it up, but I prefer a high-res
preview.
I'm hoping to get away with NOT upgrading my Quark 4 to the new OS X-native
version 6, because the business side of Quark is awful. I'm not sure, though, if
InDesign is the ideal replacement.
Any graphic artists out there?
