I was searching the web to see if there was anything related to the
old eWorld service, and found this group. I was glad to see there
were people that miss it also. I had just gotten into Macintosh
computers around 1994 and joined eWorld when it started. I was living
in Hawaii at that time and have fond memories of eWorld, and that "mid
nineties" time period. I met a lot of nice people on there and was
looking forward to the future upgrades of eWorld. It was a sad day
for me when Apple decided to shut it down.
